Why You Must Stretch Before any Physical Exercise at the modern gym

Stretching should be the first and last
Step of any workout to prevent injuries
And post workout aches and pains.

Before exercising, warm up your muscles with

five minutes of light cardio exercise such as walking

then stretch for at least three minutes.

Stretch for a longer time after a work out to prevent

muscle stiffness. Hold each stretch for 60 seconds,

breathing into the stretch. The movements should never

be sharp.
